New life!

Check out the little bluebirds that were born right outside our house! My mom was trimming the bushes and saw the nest with the eggs in it. Then all-of-a-sudden one of the eggs cracked open and a teeny tiny bird came out! So cute!

5 days!

Last Wednesday here in the States. I got my last bit of lab work done today and the results back. No TB, thank goodness:)

I am so pooped! I look back on today and think, "why are you so tired? You haven't done much!". I think it's the stress of things and what not that has me so tired. I'm also not sleeping well because I have so much running through my head.

I did have lunch with my good friend, Ruthanne. We were there almost two hours, just talking and laughing and acting completely normal. It was nice to not have to say goodbye today, but to have a "normal" lunch like nothing was happening on Tuesday.

The more I talk to my friends in Asia, the more I get excited about my life there and all the possibilities that are ahead. I, of course, have this idea in my head of what life will be like, but I can't know for sure. Whatever it is, I'm sure I won't be disappointed? How can I be when this is clearly where Dad wants me?

Oh! Got to get the cheesecake out of the oven...

Pictures of the "thank you" party

I had a "thank you" for all of my supporters along this journey. Here's a glimpse into Saturday.

7 days to go

I only have seven days left in the United States!

Girls' time

A little girls night. It's called an "Oats and Honey" mask. Made our faces break out later. Whoops!

26 days

I leave for Asia in 26 days. I bought my ticket a few weeks ago. I can't believe the days are approaching. Remember me as I prepare to go.
