Leaving tomorrow!

So tomorrow's the day! I leave bright and early on a plane headed for Tokyo, Japan, to see Brandon! I can't believe the day is finally here. :) I'm packed and completely amazed at myself that I got everything into one regular size suitcase and one very small toiletries suitcase. Man I'm good!

Pray for me as I travel-that I won't miss any flights and that I don't catch any colds or weird things from people on the plane! I'm off to have the time of my life!!! :)

Setting the stage

This morning at church my pastor had arranged a time for people to repent before the Lord; to get on our knees and specifically list the sins in our life that we needed to ask forgiveness for. Quite honestly, I usually don't like those times when it's "programmed" into the service. (I don't know if it was or not.) The point is, I was glad that this morning that opportunity was there.

I have to admit that life gets busy, and sometimes too busy. And really, sometimes it's not busy at all, but I still don't make time for the Lord. I needed this time this morning to repent and ask the Lord to forgive me of quite a few things. I had forgotten to do that. I had forgotten that I needed to. It's good to be reminded of that and to be given the time and the opportunity. Thank you Mike.
