Tao Temple

So- here we are at the Tao Temple, the home of "Yin and "Yang!" Mom and I are sitting at the entrance and have noticed that the Temples we are visiting are not just one building, but many within a large walled area. The guy in the "outfit" is a Taoist monk and most likely lives on the grounds. The large pillars I'm standing by are historic records chiseled into the rock. There were several Tao believers while we were there offering incense and paying homage to their God. It's one thing to read about these religions, but to actually see them practiced makes them so real. The family in the pic was teaching their son about the incense and then the Dad (I'm assuming) was showing the little boy how to bow before their God. Sad. Taoists believe in good works and reincarnation.
